Senior Safety Advisor Major Capital Delivery

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Safety Advisor to join our Major Capital Delivery team. As a key member of our Health, Safety and Environment Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all personnel on large-scale complex water infrastructure construction and service delivery projects.
This is a critical role that requires extensive experience in managing high-risk activities, conducting site investigations, and building strong stakeholder relationships. You will support the operational delivery of safety strategies, mentor project managers, and provide expert safety guidance across the Major Capital Delivery team.
About You- Extensive experience in Major Infrastructure Projects, Construction, Rail or Heavy Industrial environments within Tier 1 organisations
- Strong facilitation and communication skills
- Minimum diploma level qualifications in safety, engineering or risk management or equivalent operational or technical experience
- Ability to provide advice, guidance and coaching to support the implementation of H&S requirements
- Sound judgment and problem solving skills and decision making skills
- Valid Victoria Driver's License and flexibility to travel across our multiple Melbourne Water sites
- AusCheck is required for this role
