About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our B&D Garage Doors and Openers team. As a member of our site operations team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our site performs at its peak each day.

As a Maintenance Fitter, you'll be responsible for carrying out preventative maintenance tasks, identifying equipment issues, and participating in site improvement projects. You'll work closely with our team to troubleshoot problems, provide sustainable solutions, and communicate with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks to ensure site equipment is in good working order
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues, providing solutions to improve site operations
  • Participate in site improvement projects to enhance efficiency and productivity
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, notifications, and work activities
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve site goals and objectives

Requirements

  • Recognized Mechanical Trade Qualification
  • Ability to work independently and make quick decisions during emergency situations
  • Strong understanding of safety and environmental practices
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
