Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join our Corporate and Merger & Acquisition functions. The successful candidate will provide legal support across various corporate head office functions, including Strategy, Finance, Tax, and Treasury.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage Merger & Acquisition activities, including due diligence and contract negotiations.
  • Provide timely legal advice across various corporate functions.
  • Draft and review complex commercial contracts and agreements.
  • Support corporate governance and ensure legal compliance.
  • Mentor junior legal team members and contribute to wider legal projects across the organization.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8+ years of post-qualification experience.
  • Expertise in corporate and commercial law, particularly M&A and contract negotiations.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Law degree and current unrestricted legal practising certificate in Australia.
