Senior Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Mackay. As a key member of our Building Services team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise, design, documentation, and project management for a variety of infrastructure, buildings, water, transport, defence, mining, and other projects.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake and manage the design and documentation of Building Services, including electrical power reticulation and distribution systems, lighting design, standby power generation, communications cabling, lightning protection, fire detection, audio visual, and security for various new or revamp-related projects.
- Manage multi-discipline projects, engaging with internal and external stakeholders, and supervising and mentoring junior team members.
- Direct client engagement during delivery and active involvement in winning work.
- Prepare and coordinate fee proposals, technical report writing, cost reporting, and client liaison at project level.
- 6+ years' experience in the design of electrical installations and the ability to lead and manage electrical design teams undertaking work in property and buildings, water, transport, and Defence market sectors.
- Strong understanding of electrical standards, National Construction Code, codes, and regulations, as well as renewable energy resources and industry software.
- Excellent communication, leadership, teamwork, and client service skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and teams.
- Computer proficiency in software packages such as AutoCAD, PowerCAD, Perfect Lite, AGi32, or DIALux, and Microsoft Office.
