Vic Private Hospital Locum Anaesthesia Opportunity

We are seeking skilled anaesthetists to provide contingency-only overnight cover at a private hospital in the Mornington Peninsula VIC. The role involves flexible after-hours work with clear expectations and competitive remuneration.
About the Role:This is a 12-hour per night, on-call opportunity, Monday to Thursday, and 24-hour blocks over weekends. You will have the ability to dictate your own schedule, allowing for some flexibility around start times to accommodate daytime list overruns.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing emergency anaesthetics only for Orthopaedics, Plastics, Urology, and General Surgery, with an average call-in rate of once every six nights.

- Doctors retain full billings for urgent weekend cases
The hospital is fully equipped with a 24/7 ICU and ED, ensuring that anaesthetists will never be expected to operate unsupported.
The Emergency Department manages the majority of overnight presentations, providing a supportive environment for anaesthetists.
