About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor - Bioprocessing to join our client's team in Brisbane. As a key member of the manufacturing team, you will be responsible for managing a team of Team Leaders/Production Scientists in the production of biopharmaceuticals.

  • Manage a team of production staff over a 7-day rotating roster.
  • Ensure the growth and development of the Upstream Processing team, focusing on building talent depth and succession planning.
  • Stay up-to-date with novel processing equipment and techniques, ensuring the Upstream and Operational processing technology is cutting-edge.
  • Support the MSAT and Operational team on new process implementation and repeat batch execution.
  • Review and author manufacturing batch records, SOPs, and logbooks.
  • Independently organize and execute USP unit operations under cGMP conditions.
About You
  • Tertiary education in a science or engineering-based field or 4 years of relevant experience in the bio/pharmaceutical fields.
  • Team management experience, with a track record of building, developing, and coaching high-performing teams.
  • Strong knowledge and experience working in a cGMP environment.
  • Specific knowledge and experience in relevant quality systems.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to influence and build effective teams.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
