Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to join our team in Brisbane. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, managing and maintaining detailed project schedules for electrical utilities and renewable energy projects.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-value and technically complex projects in the construction industry. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise while working with a dynamic and supportive team.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules for electrical utilities and renewable energy projects
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather project inputs and ensure accurate scheduling of milestones and deliverables
  • Track and report on project progress, identifying and addressing scheduling risks or deviations from the baseline
  • Provide insightful schedule analysis to key stakeholders and contribute to project reviews
  • Align schedules with overall project objectives, budget and timelines
  • Support risk mitigation efforts by identifying and communicating scheduling conflicts early
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A strong background in scheduling for complex, multidisciplinary projects, ideally within the renewable energy or electrical utilities sector
  • Experience in infrastructure, mining or oil & gas will also be highly regarded
  • 5+ years of experience in a scheduling or project controls role on large-scale projects
  • Proven track record of working on high-value or technically complex projects in construction, renewables or similar industries
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Strong technical skills, with proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
