Job Title: Media Content Creator

We are seeking a skilled media content creator to join our team. As a media content creator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality audio-visual content that is accessible to all viewers.

The ideal candidate will have excellent English skills, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation, as well as good communication skills to convey complex ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing.

You will work accurately and calmly under tight deadlines during live work, proofread, review, and correct your work and others' work to ensure high standards and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create captions for television programming and audio-visual media to convey intentions and information to deaf or hard-of-hearing viewers.
  • Work effectively as part of a captioning team and take responsibility for quality and timely delivery of your own work.
  • Have an understanding of hearing-impaired people's difficulties when watching TV, and knowledge of current affairs and television output.
Requirements:
  • Excellent English language skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills to convey complex ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to listen carefully to respeak the soundtrack of television programs or media at the appropriate level of accuracy.
