  • Data Scientist - Business Insights

As a highly analytical and commercially savvy individual, you will be responsible for uncovering insights from complex data sets to inform business decisions.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst/Scientist who can take ownership of our analytics process, working closely with stakeholders across the business. This is a hands-on role where you will be deep diving into data, producing actionable recommendations, and blending data analytics with strong business acumen.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, marketing, or customer analytics, with experience using CRM data, ideally Salesforce. You will be skilled in SQL, Tableau, or Power BI, and possess excellent communication skills to simplify complex findings for non-technical audiences.

You will work independently in a fast-paced environment, taking ownership of end-to-end projects, and partnering with stakeholders to translate business needs into clear, actionable analytics projects.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing customer behavior to identify churn risks and retention opportunities
  • Identifying customer lifetime value and opportunities
  • Pulling and manipulating data using SQL
  • Building and maintaining dashboards/reports
  • Developing models to forecast trends and identify growth opportunities

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a business setting
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL, including data modeling and database design
  • Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization tools
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
