Job SummaryThis role involves working as part of a team to provide security services at Al Minhad Airbase, supporting the Australian Defence Force (ADF). You will be responsible for managing and coordinating the movements of ADF personnel, ensuring their safety and security within the airbase premises and while on in-country relocations and scheduled leave.
Key Responsibilities- To safeguard the security of the premises and its surrounding perimeter, maintaining awareness of current threat levels and reporting any suspicious activities.
- Provide excellent customer service, interacting with personnel, contractors, and external agencies such as the local police.
- Act as a deterrent to prevent non-compliance with security protocols.
- Report incidents to the on-duty client representative for appropriate action.
- Australian citizenship.
- A valid Australian Driver's Licence, allowing you to obtain a UAE driving licence.
- A valid Australian Passport with at least nine months' validity remaining.
- A valid security license from an authorized governing body in Australia, covering Crowd Controller, Security Officer (Unarmed), and Security Officer (Monitoring) functions.
- Baseline AGSVA security clearance (preferably held but can be applied for upon successful application).
- Certificate II in Security Operations (CPP20212) with specific units completed.
- Experience in base operations environments.
- Excellent English communication skills, including reading, writing, and spoken fluency.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work productively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Motivation and flexibility to work in a time-sensitive environment responding to unexpected high workloads and emergencies.
