Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Safety Policies: Create and maintain comprehensive safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to employees on safety procedures and protocols to ensure a culture of safety within the organization.
- Incident Investigation and Reporting: Investigate incidents and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Compliance and Auditing: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards through regular audits and inspections.
- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
- 3-5 years' experience in a Safety Officer role on construction projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
