Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our professional and friendly team in Frankston. Thanks to our commitment to service excellence, demand for our services has increased, and we require a new practitioner in the area.

We need someone with registration (i.e. suitability) with the Commission to work as a Behaviour Support Practitioner for a registered NDIS provider and demonstrate a sound knowledge of the Positive Behaviour Support Model of reducing the use of Restrictive Practices, along with a strong commitment to delivering evidence-based, functional behavioural outcomes.

About You

  • Current suitability with the NDIS Commission as a Behaviour Support Practitioner is essential
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across a multidisciplinary team
  • Outstanding communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills
  • Current Driver's Licence and own reliable vehicle

Qualifications

  • Formal qualifications of relevance to providing supports to people with behaviours of concern AND/OR considerable experience providing support to people with complex behaviours, either professionally and/or personally, is essential
