Electronics Assembly Technician Role

This position involves hands-on technical work as an Electronics Assembly Technician. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics and mechanical systems, with experience in assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of complex electro-mechanical assemblies.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Troubleshooting, testing, assembling, disassembling and performing visual inspection of electro-mechanical assemblies.
  • Assisting in reworking and repairing drilling equipment.
  • Performing complex tests with minimal instruction and documentation.
  • Identifying and communicating technical problems using logical troubleshooting techniques.
  • Coaching other technicians in areas of proven competence.

This role requires:

  • Strong electronic or mechanical background and experience in maintenance processes.
  • Excellent technical and mechanical aptitude, with a desire to learn and improve knowledge and skills.
  • Good IT and technical skills, with ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Excellent written and oral communication in English.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate good problem-solving and analytical skills.
