A respected community mental health service in Western Sydney is seeking a skilled mental health professional to join their team as a Senior Clinician. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive recovery-focused care and support individuals experiencing complex mental health challenges.
About the Role
The Senior Clinician will play a pivotal part in delivering high-quality clinical care, guiding and mentoring a multidisciplinary team. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering comprehensive assessments and psychological interventions tailored to individual recovery goals
- Providing leadership, guidance, and clinical oversight to support team members in delivering evidence-based, person-centred care
- Strengthening and maintaining effective referral pathways and contributing to smooth service delivery and coordination
- Maintaining quality and safety standards, ensuring alignment with best practice, policies, and compliance frameworks
- Working closely with the Service Manager to maintain and enhance the integrity of the clinical model of care
Key Qualifications
To be successful in this role, applicants must possess:
- Minimum 3 years' clinical experience in mental health
- Demonstrated expertise in assessment, evidence-based interventions, and case management
- Strong leadership capabilities, with experience in mentoring and clinical guidance
- Solid understanding of recovery-oriented practice and youth mental health
- Confident participation in clinical review, risk management, and service planning
- Current and valid Australian Driver's Licence
