Regional Faults Response and Maintenance Technician

Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding role that allows you to work in a local community? Do you have experience in gas distribution network maintenance and construction?
Key Responsibilities:- Support Faults and Emergency Response activities, including residential and commercial meter changes, inspections, and leak detection.
- Undertake maintenance and construction activities associated with the gas distribution network in line with ATCO Gas Australia's Asset Management Plan and relevant policies and procedures.
- Operate independently or as part of a small team, liaising with customers and other stakeholders to ensure minimal disruption to supply.
- Participate in the 24/7 On Call Roster at nominated intervals throughout the business cycle.
- Ensure all activities and associated assets are recorded against correct cost centres to enable accurate costing of maintenance works and activities.
- Hold Energy Safety Class G Gasfitting Licence.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with members of the general public, contractors, and the community.
- Certificate III in Gas Industry Operations (or training can be provided).
- Western Australia Construction White Card / Blue Card.
- Current C class drivers licence (Medium Rigid (MR) Class Drivers Licence desirable).
- Certificate in Excavator Operation (desirable).
- Basic Worksite Traffic Management Certificate (desirable).
