Job Title: Warehouse Automation Project Manager

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Automation Project Manager to join our client's team. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the implementation of automated systems in their new distribution centre, driving efficiency, accuracy, and scalability for their supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, from planning and design to execution and handover.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure alignment of project objectives with business goals.
  • Lead the installation of automation technologies, including robotics and conveyor systems.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to achieve timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management, highlighting key milestones, risks, and opportunities.
  • Oversee training programs for warehouse staff to facilitate smooth adoption and operation of new automation systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Skills and Experience:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing warehouse automation projects, including system design, implementation, and optimization.
  • Strong technical expertise in automation technologies such as robotics and warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
