Regional Medical Director for Patient-Centric Care

We are seeking a highly skilled Deputy Director of Medical Services to join our executive team at Albany Health Service in Western Australia.
Salary and BenefitsThe successful candidate will receive a competitive salary package, with the total remuneration being up to $497k per annum, reflecting the exceptional standard of living and work-life balance offered in this beautiful coastal city.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Leadership: Oversee the day-to-day operations of Medical Services, ensuring the efficient delivery of high-quality clinical care across the Albany Health Campus.
- Junior Doctor Development: Partner with senior medical staff to recruit, mentor, and support junior doctors, fostering a positive learning environment.
- Outpatient Service Optimisation: Lead the management and continuous improvement of outpatient services to enhance patient access, experience, and outcomes.
- Quality and Safety Champion: Drive a culture of safety and continuous improvement, participating in quality committees and initiatives to exceed accreditation standards.
- Clinical Governance: Lead clinical incident investigations, complaint management, and audits to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centred care.
- Accreditation and Compliance: Collaborate with the Director of Clinical Training and Heads of Department to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- AHPRA registration.
- FACMA or close to FACMA. Alternatively, a Fellow of any clinical college or a clinician without fellowship with at least 4 years of clinical experience but who is passionate about regional healthcare.
- Ability to build relationships and influence positive change.
