Job Summary

Australian Disability Care Services (ADCS) is seeking an experienced and dedicated Accommodation Manager to oversee the operations of our residential accommodation facilities for individuals with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of residential accommodation facilities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of support staff, including recruitment, training, supervision, and performance management.
  • Facility Management: Develop and implement operational procedures, including house rules, routines, and emergency protocols, to promote the safety, well-being, and comfort of residents.
  • Resident Support: Coordinate and facilitate the admission and discharge of residents, ensuring smooth transitions and effective communication with residents, families, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks of accommodation facilities to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health and safety standards.

  • Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of resident records, incidents, and other relevant information, in accordance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
  • Professional Development: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to disability accommodation services, and implement necessary adjustments to improve service delivery.
