We are seeking an experienced Aviation Surface Refinisher to join our Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Services team at Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Base Edinburgh, South Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and refinishing aircraft protective coatings associated with depot servicing requirements, including undertaking aircraft surface finishing activities in support of Product Support Training & Maintenance (PST&M) - MRO Services Capability.

Key responsibilities will include being an integral part of the existing MRO paint team delivering products and services to our customers on a first-time quality basis, being highly competent in all aircraft surface finishing processes including paint application, and being able to work within a small dynamic team and respond effectively to changing requirements.

A Certificate III or IV in Surface Finishing (or equivalent) is essential, along with a Defence Security Clearance of Negative Vetting 1 (NV1), a C class driver's licence, and a sound knowledge of aviation Quality Assurance (QA) procedures and the DASR 145 aircraft maintenance regulatory framework. Previous aircraft depot maintenance experience is desirable.
