Clinical Adult Speech Therapist

This role involves providing high-quality clinical services to adults with congenital, developmental, and acquired disorders of swallowing and communication.
- Managing dysphagia and communication impairments in adults
- Working with clients who require assistance with complex communication needs
This requires collaboration with clients, families, support coordinators, and other health professionals to ensure an integrated approach to care.
Essential Qualifications and Skills- Bachelor or Master's degree in Speech Pathology
- Membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) and eligibility for a Medicare provider number
- Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check), Disability Worker Screening Card, and National Police Check
- Minimum two years of speech pathology experience, including work with clients with complex developmental and/or acquired communication disorders
- Competent to complex level of knowledge and skill in adult speech pathology practice, particularly in a community setting
