Senior Finance Analyst

This role is central to driving strategic decision-making and operational excellence across the Supply Chain function. As the Senior Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for providing data-driven insights to optimise freight spend, improve route efficiency, and support business growth.

  • Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role will work closely with the Head of Supply Chain to identify cost savings opportunities and develop strategies to improve performance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, logistics, and data analysis, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. They will be able to communicate complex financial information effectively to stakeholders and drive business outcomes through data-driven insights.

  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Freight analytics and monthly financial outcomes
  • Deep-dive analysis to identify cost efficiencies and performance uplift
  • Budgeting and forecasting for freight, supply chain, and SLOBs
  • Freight-related master data and reporting tools
  • Cost to Serve model to support strategic decision-making
  • Presentation of insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years' experience in a similar finance or analytics role
  • CA/CPA qualified with a degree in Business, Commerce, Analytics or related field
  • Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Advanced Excel and SAP skills; Power BI experience preferred
  • Proven ability to turn data into actionable insights
