We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Traffic Safety Engineer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of traffic safety engineering principles, practices, and regulations. They will be responsible for leading the development of effective traffic safety initiatives, policies, and action plans to promote a safe driving culture and enhance road safety experience within our facilities.
The successful candidate will possess excellent technical skills in transportation planning, traffic safety studies, and road design. They will also have strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interface with various stakeholders, including company representatives, government authorities, and external entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of traffic safety initiatives, policies, and action plans to promote a safe driving culture and enhance road safety experience within our facilities.
- Conduct thorough analysis of traffic safety data to identify areas of improvement and develop targeted solutions.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of traffic safety measures.
- Provide technical support to various internal and external entities to improve traffic mobility and safety.
- Review and provide initial inputs on design and specifications of roadway schemes within and around our facilities utilizing applicable industry standards and guidelines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized program.
- Advanced degree with emphasis on Transportation & Traffic Engineering is preferred.
- No less than 15 years of experience in Traffic Engineering & Transport Planning Studies, including at least 10 years in Traffic Safety-related projects.
- Technical proficiency in road design, transport planning, and traffic safety studies.
- Familiarity with local and international standards and guidelines.
- Professional certification and licenses are required.
