Breast Care Nurse Role

Our team is seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse to provide high-quality care for patients diagnosed with Breast Cancer.

  • The ideal candidate will collaborate with oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to promote best practice in patient care.
  • They will act as a key resource for clinical improvement initiatives and service innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Clinical Nurse in our breast care department, you will be responsible for:

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills within a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Current registration with APHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • Minimum three (3) years' experience in Oncology and or surgical oncology.
  • Completion of Certified Breast Care nurse course i.e. McGrath or equivalent.
