Engine Field Service Technician Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engine Field Service Technician to join our team in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond promptly to breakdown events, demonstrating proactive and efficient problem-solving skills.
  • Carry out regular fleet maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal performance and efficiency of engines.
  • Capture and analyze engine data to identify areas for improvement and optimize maintenance schedules.
  • Diagnostics and troubleshooting: quickly identify and resolve complex engine faults to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Perform a diverse range of engine repairs, from minor adjustments to major overhauls, using advanced tools and techniques.
  • Work autonomously as well as collaboratively with colleagues and other stakeholders to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners, representing the company's values and expertise at all times.
Requirements:
  • Field service experience and heavy-duty engine expertise are preferred but not essential; relevant trade qualifications (heavy diesel) are also desirable.
  • Proven diagnostic skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and a valid driver's license are essential requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) are necessary for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
