About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Exploration Geologist to join our team at EBR. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning and performance of exploration programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake planning, management, and implementation of drilling programs on time and within budget
  • Generate, rank, and test new and existing targets
  • Contribute to statutory and company reports
  • Utilize geophysical, geochemical, and geological data to interpret projects and perform geological modeling
  • Manage consultants, staff, and drilling contractors
  • Develop regional geologic maps and resource models for exploration projects
Requirements
  • 10+ years' experience in the gold mining and exploration industry, including time as a Resource Geologist
  • Excellent communication skills and previous experience in mentoring junior professionals
  • Working knowledge of image preparation for ASX announcements, cross-sections, geochemical data sets, geological maps, and ability to think in 3D
  • Previous experience working with the Department of Mines and Industry Relations and knowledge of the Department of Environment's reporting requirements
  • Tertiary degree in Geology or related discipline
