Job Title: EPMO Lead

Our client, Ambition Group, is seeking an experienced EPMO Lead to drive portfolio governance and improve their project management framework.

The successful candidate will join a local council in the south eastern suburbs and be responsible for leading a high-performing team of 2 to drive project management governance and best practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a high-performing team to drive project management governance and best practice.
  • Build project management maturity and capability.
  • Continuously improve the project management framework.
  • Provide effective project and portfolio reporting.
  • Support project managers and sponsors.
  • Manage and improve the portfolio project management system and ensure it aligns with organizational PM maturity.
  • Manage organizational relationships both internally and externally.
  • Successfully manage organisational change.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Ensure risk management systems and processes are being used to effectively identify and mitigate project and portfolio risk.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience leading an e PMO function and driving continuous improvement at the portfolio level.
  • Good understanding of what it takes to deliver a capital project and the risks associated with this.
  • Ability to collaborate and influence across the organisation.
