Patient Services Assistant
Job Description
This role is ideal for an individual who has a Certificate III in Aged Care, Health Services or Care Support. The successful candidate will be able to adapt quickly to changing demands and provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clinical staff in providing quality care and patient support.
- Provide transport services using approved equipment and vehicles.
- Assist patients on admission and help them settle comfortably.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in patient rooms and shared areas according to infection control standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful, you must have a strong understanding of infection control, manual handling, and hospital safety procedures. You must also possess excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
