Job Summary:

\Helpers and Analysis. Our organization is seeking a Category Assistant to join our team in the health, beauty, and wellness sector. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and communicate insights effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Support categories through analysis, reporting, and operational management\
  • Gain exposure to FMCG retail practices\
  • Contribute to high-impact projects, including new system rollouts and promotional initiatives\
  • Help ensure smooth daily operations and analyse sales and customer data\
  • Support category strategy across health, beauty, and wellness products\
  • Work alongside experienced Category Managers\
  • Assist with planning, operational execution, and inventory management\
  • Analyse sales trends, customer behaviour, and market developments\
  • Provide recommendations for product placement and pricing strategies\
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders\
  • Identify opportunities for growth and improvement\
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives\\/ul>

Requirements:

  • \
  • Foundational knowledge of Category or Inventory Management in FMCG or retail\
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and communicate insights\
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills\
  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment\
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency\
  • Previous experience in Category Assistant, Buyer's Assistant, or FMCG support roles highly desirable\\/ul>
