Hairdressing Educator

CQUniversity's School of Health, Medical and Applied Sciences seeks a skilled Hairdressing Educator to join its team. As a Hairdressing Educator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of hairdressing professionals. You will develop and deliver quality learning services to students through outcome-focused vocational education and training programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop effective working relationships with students, client groups, and University staff by participating in meetings, industry reference groups, student events, and University forums.
• Use flexible, blended, and distributed learning techniques, options, and products for innovative delivery and assessment solutions to meet the changing needs of various client groups.

Requirements:

• Possession of a Certificate III in Hairdressing and relevant industry currency.
• At least three years' experience as a hairdresser in a salon environment, where you have applied the skills and knowledge covered in each unit of competency of the hairdressing qualification.
• TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or willingness to obtain.
