About the Role
The Assistant Director, Procurement and Contracts position plays a pivotal role in managing procurement activities and contracts to support organizational outcomes. They will collaborate with departments to provide expert guidance on procurement and contract management initiatives.
A key aspect of this role is developing and implementing comprehensive procurement policies and procedures that align with regulatory frameworks. The successful candidate will have an in-depth understanding of procurement regulations and be responsible for reviewing and updating related guidelines as needed.
In addition to procurement responsibilities, the Assistant Director, Procurement and Contracts will oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Treasury functions within the organization. This will involve working closely with stakeholders to ensure seamless financial operations and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
