Support Care Specialist

Care workers like you play a vital role in helping clients maintain their independence and wellbeing.

The Role

As a Support Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing general housekeeping, cleaning, and laundry services. You will also assist with meal preparation, grocery shopping, and help clients get ready for the day.

Additional responsibilities include assisting with mobility and therapy goals, providing complex care for customers with high care needs, and offering social and emotional support.

Working closely with family carers, you will provide relief and enable them to have a break from caregiving duties.

Requirements
  • A valid Australian driver's license and own insured vehicle
  • Experience of 3 months or more in a similar professional role, with experience in personal care, manual handling, hoist training, and medications
