Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate side loader waste trucks to transport waste from domestic locations to specified waste points.
  • Navigate a range of municipal streets, including tight and narrow locations, in a safe manner.
  • Perform routine prestart and shift end checks of the vehicle.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service at all times.

Requirements:

  • Valid HR driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably with side loader trucks.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to start immediately and attend depot for early pre-dawn starts.
