Job Role: Public Area Host

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Public Area Host. In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of all public areas within the hotel.

This includes ensuring that all spaces are efficiently cleaned and maintained, including vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, and rubbish removal. You will also be required to warmly greet guests and provide assistance with directions and special requests as needed.

This is a physically demanding role that requires flexibility, as you will be working on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of all public areas, including restaurants, bars, function rooms, and guestrooms
  • Provide exceptional customer service by warmly greeting guests and assisting with directions and special requests
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by your supervisor
Requirements:
  • A strong understanding of English to effectively communicate with colleagues and guests
  • The ability to lift, bend, and walk for long periods without issue
  • Flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
