About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Australian Unity. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering in-home support services to our aged care customers, enabling them to live independently and remain in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personal care and support services to customers in their homes, including personal hygiene, toileting, showering, dressing, and help at mealtime.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Transport customers to appointments, shopping, and social outings.
  • Provide social interaction and client awareness, including observations and ongoing training and support.

Requirements:

  • Current Australian Driver's License and ownership of a reliable insured vehicle.
  • Fully vaccinated minimum 2 doses for Covid-19.
  • Flexibility to work rosters between 7am to 7pm, Monday to Sunday.
  • Minimum 12 months experience in delivering Personal Care and/or a Certificate III in Individual Support.
