IT Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Halcyon Knights in Melbourne's South Eastern suburbs. In this newly created role, you'll play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, providing exceptional support to staff, and contributing to exciting new projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, implement, and maintain various IT technologies including desktops, servers, networks, and software applications.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems, both on-site and remotely.
• Maintain and monitor server backups and antivirus systems.
• Assist in planning, coordinating, and implementing software updates and security measures.
• Analyse equipment performance and recommend repairs or replacements.
• Participate in project work, including the implementation of a new ERP system (experience with Dynamics 365 is a plus).

Requirements:

• Minimum tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in IT.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with basic networking concepts.
• A passion for technology and a willingness to learn new skills.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with Dynamics 365.
• Exposure to SQL.
