Software Development Professional with Agile Expertise

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our Platform team at Visory.

As a member of our agile environment, you will work collaboratively with colleagues to determine the best ways to build new features and deliver cutting-edge architecture. Your creativity will be encouraged, and you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of our platform.

Our team operates an AWS serverless environment and uses NodeJS, TypeScript, and Angular. On a daily basis, you can expect to:

  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams in a highly collaborative environment
  • Participate in daily stand-ups and contribute to strategic discussions
  • Analyse problems and make informed recommendations for solutions
  • Proactively drive development work and manage complex product backlog items
  • Review Pull Requests and provide actionable feedback to maintain high-quality code

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience as a commercial software engineer working within 'product' oriented teams
  • Enjoys working hard in a start-up environment and has a problem-solving mindset
  • Has experience building mobile-first web applications and is familiar with our tech stack
  • Has had exposure to cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Ideally has knowledge of 'Serverless' technologies like AWS S3, Lambda, SAM, and Serverless Frameworks
  • Is driven, flexible, self-motivated, and a good communicator
