National Food and Beverage Operations Manager

ISS seeks a National Food and Beverage Operations Manager to oversee the cost-effective management and production of food and beverage services across multiple sites in South Australia and Western Australia. This full-time role can be based in a metro Adelaide or Perth office.

The ideal candidate will cultivate a positive work environment where learning and personal development are benchmarks by which quality improvement is driven. They will manage and lead the food and beverage team across multiple sites in SA and WA, managing catering operations in line with contractual obligations while ensuring client and staff satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure food standards, preparation, presentation, and cooking techniques are established and monitored to meet ISS brand Standard guidelines.
  • Work with the Executive and Head Chef to take corrective action where appropriate, and within company guidelines, if standards are not met.
  • Ensure the highest possible standard of hygiene is practiced and maintained by the entire kitchen team to meet Health & Safety regulations and HACCP food preparation guidelines.
  • Manage menus for all routine meal services, private, and formal functions in accordance with contractual agreements.
  • Manage food cost and expenses as per the onsite contract scope.
  • Regularly review and address client staff feedback and maintenance registers.
  • Bank money received including all recording and reporting.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years' experience leading and developing a multi-faceted food and beverage business with a strong focus on exceptional customer service.
  • Demonstrated experience maintaining productive and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Hospitality Operations Business Food and Beverage or related discipline.
  • Holding and maintaining HACCP Level 3 qualifications First Aid Certificate – Level 3 Food Safety Supervisor certification and RSA certificate.
  • Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment (TAE40122).
  • Basic accounting skills including budgeting and reporting.
