About the Role

MacKillop's Out of Home Care (OOHC) Division provides residential care, home based care, lead tenant and case management support for young people with high and complex needs, and a therapeutically oriented program for young people in protective placements. As a key member of our team, you will be situated within the Home-Based Care Program in Melbourne Victoria, reporting to the Home-Based Care Coordinator.

This is a Full-time (Fixed-Term) opportunity based in Forest Hill within our Home-Based Care Program. The position requires a candidate who can work collaboratively and constructively within teams, as well as initiate effective personal judgement when working alone.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide casework support to young people with high and complex needs;
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualised plans;
  • Maintain accurate records and reports;
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities;
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications;
  • Professional casework skills, including knowledge of LAC and CIRSSP/CRIS;
  • Sound professional knowledge and theory base;
  • A valid Driver's Licence; A Satisfactory Criminal History Check (paid for by MacKillop); A Valid Employee Working with Children Check; A Valid and current NDIS Workers Screening Check (for risk assessed/client facing roles).
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $49,280 to $51,510 per annum, dependent on qualification and experience. Additionally, we provide a range of benefits including:
