Financial Services Coordinator

The Finance Officer position plays a vital role in the effective operation of corporate accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring accurate and timely accounting, budgeting, and reporting.
This role works closely with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality financial services in line with legislation, standards, and organisational policies.
Key Responsibilities:- Preparing journals, receipting and invoicing entries, reconciliations, and the monthly Business Activity Statement (BAS).
- Maintaining accruals, prepayments, aged creditor reports, and other financial records.
- Producing end-of-month reports, capitalising assets, and depreciation schedules.
- Managing accounts receivable processes and transferring corporate revenue between systems.
- Monitoring invoice payments and supporting policy and process improvements.
The successful candidate will have strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access, and experience with accounting systems. They will also have a high attention to detail and ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Requirements:- Ability to manage high volumes of work, meet deadlines, and prioritise effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering accurate financial reports and reconciliations.
Qualifications in accounting, finance, or business are highly desirable, along with knowledge of relevant taxation legislation.
