Job Role Overview

We are seeking a Sales Associate to join our retail team in Gosford. As a Sales Associate, you will provide excellent customer service, manage inventory and maintain visual merchandising standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide product solutions and advice to customers
  • Tint paint products to customer specifications
  • Control inventory (goods receiving and stock taking)
  • Take orders in-store and by phone
  • Replenish stock, including 15L paint drums
  • BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH CUSTOMERS AND COLLEAGUES
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest colour forecasts and product releases
  • Assist with visual displays, store presentation and housekeeping
  • Comply with safe work practices

About You:

  • Driver's licence for local deliveries
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Genuine desire to deliver outstanding service
  • Previous experience in customer service or sales
  • Experience with stock handling and merchandising
  • Ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting of 15L cans of paint
  • Point of Sale (POS) system knowledge or technical aptitude
  • Numeracy skills for POS transactions and tint percentages/ratios
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to follow instructions
