About This Opportunity

We are seeking a Director of Workplace Risk Management to lead the strategic direction of occupational health and safety initiatives and ensure alignment with operational goals and legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance safety performance.
  • Oversee risk management metrics and compliance frameworks.
  • Lead resource planning and manage risk budgets effectively.
  • Drive cultural transformation and organisational change.

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety or a related field.
  • Experience in a senior management role within agribusiness, logistics, or manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety Act, Workers Compensation Act, and associated regulations.
  • Proven ability to lead cultural transformation and manage organisational change.
  • Queensland 'C' Class driver's licence.
  • Qualifications in Risk Management would be an advantage.
