About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HSE Advisor to join our team at Sedgman Pty Limited. As a key member of our site leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees and contractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and support to site employees on implementing fundamental HSE processes, including Job Safety Observations, risk management, and fitness for work.
  • Develop and deliver relevant HSE materials to operational leaders, such as educational resources and safety statistics.
  • Oversee HSE Management Plans site-wide for safety compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to establish, implement, and review HSE requirements regularly.
  • Assess HSE performance to identify critical issues and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Provide on-site assistance for incident investigations and risk assessments.
  • Assist the site leadership team in identifying training needs to maintain high training compliance levels.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a role involving safety responsibilities is essential.
  • Flexibility to work on-site daily and adapt to changing schedules.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Capable of delivering messages with clarity and conviction.
