About the Role:- Mentor, supervise, lead, and provide guidance to the Assets Service Unit.
- Manage the development and periodic review of Policies and Strategies, provide input for key objectives and performance indicators.
- Manage and guide the development of the Asset Management Framework (Policy, Strategy, Plans, Processes and Systems) that is in line with existing strategic objectives.
- Manage the infrastructure asset revaluations process, produce regular reports and presentations.
- Provide technical support for operational staff in delivery of asset renewal and maintenance programmes and projects.
- Review and improve strategies for asset-related levels of service using community engagement information.
- Provide strategic, specialist and legislative advice on all infrastructure asset management related matters.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in asset management.
- Experience in leading a team to achieve positive outcomes.
- Demonstrated analytical and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and managing financial budgets.
- Experience in relevant software architecture relating to asset management.
- (Desirable) Local government experience.
