Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Cloud Database Engineer and take on the exciting challenge of ensuring SQL Server database performance and availability in a 24x7 environment. Your expertise will be crucial in installing, configuring, upgrading, monitoring, maintaining, and managing multiple SQL Server databases.

In this role, you will perform database and application tuning, establish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures, implement and maintain database security, create, maintain, and monitor SQL Object.

You will also work with technical and non-technical people, possess problem-solving skills, and meet deadlines. Having experience with SSAS/SSRS/SSIS, newer data/streaming platforms like Kafka, MSK, Snowflake, Aurora DB, SNS, AWS, AWS CLI management, MS Azure database management, MCSE/MCDBA/OCPNET technologies, PowerShell, C# would be advantageous.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field or equivalent work experience required.
  • 5+ years maintaining SQL Server mission-critical databases.
  • 5+ years of TSQL programming.
  • 2+ years implementing and maintaining database replication.
  • 2+ years implementing and maintaining SQL Server Availability Groups.
  • Able to work with technical and non-technical people.
  • Problem-solving skills are a must.
  • Able to meet deadlines.
