About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer (Civil) to join our team on the Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail Project. As a key member of our team, you will provide specialist advice and technical support for the delivery of infrastructure packages on the project.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support Project Managers and Principal Engineers in the delivery of rail and civil infrastructure components to ensure benefits are delivered and time, budgetary, and quality requirements are met.
  2. Provide engineering input into project planning, detailed design, construction methodology, and proposed maintenance practices to ensure value for money and best practice are achieved.
  3. Advise and support on project reviews, procurement, design, contractual issues, and contract performance through various contract models.
  4. Maintain and apply relevant standards, policies, guidelines, and legislative requirements to support responsible decisions and courses of action.
  5. Monitor project performance management systems to ensure they are in place and supporting the delivery of individual projects within the LGC corridor.
  6. Work collaboratively with the LGC project team to develop a positive team culture and support effective relationships at all levels.
  7. Develop and maintain ongoing constructive relationships and strategic networks within TMR, Queensland Rail, and other government agencies and jurisdictions, industry, stakeholders, community, and internal and external clients.
  8. Coordinate resource allocation, encouraging effective teamwork and fostering a positive attitude towards the achievement of organisational objectives.
Requirements
  1. A Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent Civil Engineering qualification accepted by Engineers Australia.
  2. Registration as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ).
  3. Current C-class driver's license.
