Overview

A health trainer is sought to deliver high-quality vocational education and training programs in community care, individual support, disability, and allied health.

The successful candidate will possess strong knowledge of industry requirements, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to complete a Police Check and hold a Working With Vulnerable People Check.

  • - Hold a TAE40122 or higher Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • - Minimum of Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance or Certificate II in Health Support Services
  • - Demonstrable industry experience in the Health Industry
  • - Strong knowledge of industry requirements
  • - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging vocational education and training programs in Certificate II Health Support Services and Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance to schools and workplaces

  • - Assess student learning and progress, providing constructive feedback and support to ensure successful course completion
  • - Mentor and guide students, helping them achieve their career aspirations
  • - Collaborate with industry partners to ensure smooth transitions into chosen careers

Remuneration

The base rate for this position is upwards of $75,000 per annum plus superannuation (negotiable based on skills and experience).
