Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Shift Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure reliable uptime on process equipment to manufacture chemical products
  • Perform hands-on field work troubleshooting and issue permits as required
  • Prepare JSA's for equipment maintenance and prepare plant and equipment for maintenance
  • Operate the site safely in accordance with legislation and health and safety standards
  • Achieve manufacturing targets and assist with safety investigations
  • Develop high level safety measures and participate in the emergency response team
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in an industrial environment, preferably with liquid process or manufacturing equipment
  • Familiarity with continuous process or batch process manufacturing environments is ideal
  • Prior experience in a major hazard facility or chemical manufacturing industry would be highly regarded
  • Valid forklift, boiler and elevated work platform licenses or willingness to achieve them after employment
  • Fault finding and problem-solving skills are essential
  • Calmness and maturity when dealing with emergency situations are required
  • Good communication and time management skills are necessary
