Job Title: Companionship Care Worker

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Companion Care Worker to join our team in providing high-quality, personalized care services to older adults in their own homes. This part-time role is essential in supporting clients' wellbeing and independence.

About the Role:

  • Assist clients with personal care activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Support clients with mobility, including transferring and ambulating.
  • Prepare and serve meals, and support clients with feeding as needed.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and tidying.
  • Monitor clients' health and wellbeing, and report any concerns to the care team.
  • Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 12 months' experience working as a Companion Care Worker in an aged care or in-home care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • A caring, empathetic, and patient approach to supporting older adults.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • A current Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle.
