This position involves developing, testing, and maintaining key features such as MyAccount, Mobile App, Metering, and Customer Identity systems.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be crucial in creating customer-centric solutions that enhance the Origin Design Systems (ODS) and React component library, setting front-end excellence standards.

  • Software analysis, design, and development
  • Maintaining and extending our Origin Design System (ODS) & React component library alongside UX/UI designers and front-end developers
  • Quality Assurance through test automation and test-driven development
  • CI/CD: Experience working with continuous integration and continuous deployment through automation of builds and deployment scripts
  • Participating in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, grooming, kick-off, walkthroughs, showcases, and retrospectives
  • Thought leadership on tools, processes, technologies through involvement in Guilds Configure and managing test environments & test data
  • Mentoring and coaching of other team members

**Key Requirements**

  • Demonstrated experience with React, Material-UI, CSS-in-JS (Styled Components), modern CSS, semantic HTML, and associated frameworks
  • Demonstrated expertise in front-end development, user interface design, accessibility, mobile-first responsive design, and front-end best practices
  • Experience working to WCAG accessibility standards
  • Demonstrated experience in automating UI and API testing
  • Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
  • Experience with applications deployed on AWS
  • Experience with Git version control tool and Github
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of the Agile software development methodology, lean, and exposure to HCD
