About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Technology Risk and Assurance Professional to join our Tech Hub team.

The Tech Hub enables our businesses to achieve their technology-driven goals through effective risk management and control. Our work covers various areas, from leading technology adoption to protecting against risk and delivering valuable data insights that transform our capabilities.

As a Senior Technology Risk and Assurance Manager, you will support the Technology Controls & Assurance Director in ensuring that technology, security, and data controls are documented, assessed, and managed effectively across the firm.

You will build strong relationships throughout the business, enabling you to successfully manage and execute control testing and reporting, ensuring control weaknesses, risks, and issues are managed in accordance with our risk appetite.

  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop robust mitigation plans
  • Take a leading role in shaping and enforcing risk mitigation strategies and controls
  • Manage and execute the evaluation of design and operational effectiveness of internal controls in accordance with the Control Assurance Framework
  • Work with control owners to identify gaps and recommend improvements to strengthen the control environment

To be successful in this role, you'll need to provide extensive experience in technology risk, controls, and assurance disciplines, demonstrating deep understanding of Audit/Assurance and risk assessment processes, with a good knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry frameworks.

You'll also require the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver quality outcomes on time, as well as communicate effectively and deliver meaningful reports.

In our Tech Hub team, your impact will be seen by actively contributing to the development, documentation, approval, implementation, and testing of technology, security, and data controls, escalating and reporting on risks, control weaknesses, incidents, and issues that remain unmitigated or outside of risk appetite, and driving enhancements to the Technology controls & assurance frameworks and practices.
